We found out our ward is going to be splitting in a few weeks, so as Activities Chair, we had to throw one last bash for the PG 5th ward. We held the coolest luau in a gym ever, if I do say so myself.
Unfortunately I was so crazy busy the whole night I hardly had any chance for pics. We had a fish pond with a huge handpainted ocean as the curtain...we had authentic Hawaiian food made by some frends and fam of ward members...we had real hawaiian dancers that were awesome and involved the audience onstage too...we had tons of decor and favors.
Our kids were in charge of greeting everyone at the door and handing out leis. We asked everyone to dress up and had some that did great! We gave out pineapples for the prizes.

This photo-op was a hit! It was actually quite racy so John and I "dressed" the people with carefully cut out and glued on Designer Series Paper!
