After several weeks of scavenger-hunt-style shopping and even an impromptu haircut (for Brandi) here we are.....Scooby and the Gang!
As Shaggy's biggest fan, the costumes were all Drew's idea. Lily Jane and Drew informed us who we would be...Brandi-Velma, John-Fred, Jack-Scooby, Drew-Shaggy & Lily Jane-Daphne.

As Drew's room mom, I threw the awesomest Halloween Party ever for his class (if I do say so myself!) Here is one toilet-paper mummy-wrap race team. 2nd grade bliss!
'Fred' wore his costume all day at school (much to the delight of his high school students) and put his artistic talent to work transforming our regular minivan into the MYSTERY MACHINE!
We arrived at our ward trunk-or-treat in style. 
'Scooby' made the rounds multiple times and enjoyed himself despite a sprinkling of rain. We all had so much fun. Every time someone would say "Scooby" or call him Scooby, Jack would point up to the Scooby head on top of his head. It was really cute.
To end the night, we enjoyed a bonfire in the middle of the church parking lot. Ahhh...another successful Halloween on the books!
